Women In Animation offers many fun and exciting events. As a member, we invite you to get involved by focusing on your areas of interest.
Our committees section outlines some of the volunteer areas available to Women In Animation members.
Contact your area’s hotline or Website to find out more about special interest groups for voice artists, computer animation, writers and more! Or start your own special interest group or committee with other WIA members. It’s a truly rewarding experience.
WIA International will highlight their special events on the home page in flashing red.
Currently, our Los Angeles group is very active. Check out their calendar for specific events and information.
Also, Animation World Network’s Calendar of Events lists both local and international events for your reference.
In other programs, Women In Animation created the Phyllis Craig Scholarship Fund in honor of founding member Phyllis Craig. The fund offers scholarships to students of animation and continues Phyllis’ tradition of helping students fulfill their dreams. This is a wonderful opportunity for students and for members who would like to make a meaningful contribution to the industry.
