Want to make a shadow puppet that works well and is beautiful to look at?
The Los Angeles Guild of Puppetry presents a Shadow Puppet Building Workshop with Lynn Jeffries, Sunday October 21, 2007, from 3pm to 6pm. At COPA, 1062 N. Fair Oaks Ave. Pasadena, C A 91103. Lynn Jeffries has designed shadow puppets for theaters across the country - including Mark Taper Forum, The Guthrie, The Cornerstone. She has collaborated with puppeteer Paul Zaloom and the Ditty Bops. In this adults only workshop, you will learn techniques about how to design your character, how to build it and perform with it. We will have shadow stages available to play with your new puppet and all supplies will be provided. Space is limited to 25 participants - there are still a few places left - call or email today!
