WIA Intl Announces New Co-Presidents & Board

During the Sept.22nd meeting of the International Board of Directors of Women in Animation, the a new board, a new set of officers and co-presidents were confirmed as follows:

Jan Nagel- Co-President (President Emeritus)
Rita Street – Co-President (President Emeritus/Founder)
Stephanie Graziano – Vice President (President Emeritus)
Hope Parker – Treasurer
Richard Sigler – Secretary

Lisa Goldman (President/New York Chapter)
Linda Miller (President/ Los Angeles Chapter)
Chara Campenlla
Leah Hoyer
Dori Littell-Herrick
Marlene Sharp
Pamela Thompson
Bonita Versh

Mary Ellen Thomas continues her role as the executive assistant to the board, handling membership, accounting and general questions at wia@womeninanimation.org.

Hi - Isn’t “emeritus” a term used for retired people who still are allowed to use their title as an honorary participant in the organization? Are these co-presidents actively working, or just being honored?
